Reports: Jacoby Ellsbury Expected to Return to Red Sox Lineup on FridayJacoby Ellbury is ready to play again.

The Red Sox centerfielder, who has been out of the lineup since April 13 after suffering a subluxed shoulder, is expected to rejoin the team and return to the lineup on Friday, according to reports.

That’s great news for the Sox, who will be looking to bounce back from a poor end to the first half of the season, in which they lost six of seven games to the Oakland A’s and the New York Yankees.

Ellsbury, the runner-up for last year’s MVP award, was batting .192 before he was injured against the Rays in the team’s home opener. He has been rehabbing in the minor leagues since late June and now will be back in the big leagues, where he belongs.
