Here’s one out of the “awww” department.
Shortly after the Bruins announced that they have signed Tyler Seguin to a six-year contract extension, the All-Star forward tweeted the news and thanked everyone for their support. Seguin’s tweet even prompted a response from Olympic gold medal gymnast and Needham, Mass., native Aly Raisman, who many Boston fans are clamoring to see get cozy with the promising young Seguin.
You see, Raisman is 18 and Seguin is 20, and they’ve both won over the hearts of local fans in recent years. Plus, they both seem like down-to-earth athletes who are hardly letting their newfound fame get to them, so perhaps it makes sense.
In any event, Raisman’s tweet to Seguin already has the Twitterverse buzzing.
