Usain Bolt may double as Insane Bolt in a recent Comcast TV ad, but he says that he’s not insane enough to engage in the use of performance-enhancing drugs — no matter what is going on with his Jamaican teammates.
Back in may, Olympia Veroncia Campbell-Brown tested positive for a banned substance. She was the 12th Jamaican athlete to test positive for PEDs in the last give years. That, likewise, has brought additional scrutiny upon Bolt, who addressed the issue after arriving in Paris Wednesday for the Diamond League meeting.
“I am clean, I’m sure about that,” Bolt said, according to The Daily Mail. “I welcome people to test me every day if necessary to prove it to the world. I have no problem.
“The only thing I’m not happy about is when the testers knock on my door at 6 a.m.”
