Cavaliers’ Anthony Bennett Steals Ball From Opponent, Dunks After Final Buzzer in Bizarre Moment (Video)

Anthony Bennett‘s NBA career has not gotten off to the best start.

The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the No. 1 pick in the 2013 NBA draft, but he’s failed to meet expectations by averaging 1.4 points, 0.1 assists and 2.9 rebounds in 12.9 minutes per game this season.

At the end of Cleveland’s 124-95 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night, Bennett stole the ball from Gorgui Dieng and then scored with a two-handed jam. Unfortunately for Bennett, time ran out well before he dunked the ball, adding another embarrassing moment to his early pro career.

This is the kind of stuff that results in rookies losing respect among the league’s veterans, but in Bennett’s case, he has many more problems to worry about, including his shockingly low 12.5 percent shooting from the field.

Check out Bennett’s strange postgame decision in the video below.
