It is still unclear what punishment the Boston Celtics will hand down to center Vitor Faverani.

Faverani was arrested for alleged drunken driving after running a red light and colliding with a bus in Valencia, Spain, in early August. The 26-year-old reportedly registered a blood alcohol content three times the legal limit. No one was injured in the accident.

The Celtics organization has yet to announce how it will discipline Faverani, but Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge said Tuesday morning at the seventh annual Teeing Up for Kids Golf Tournament at Dedham Country and Polo Club that the team is still “contemplating punishment,” per MassLive.com’s Jay King.

The second-year player, who suffered a torn meniscus injury that cut his rookie season short, signed a three-year contract with Boston last season and is scheduled to earn $2.1 million this season.
