Tim Wiese could earn legions of new fans, and haters, in the next phase of his life.

Wiese, a former goalkeeper for Germany’s national team and three Bundesliga (German first division) clubs, has been offered a chance to join the WWE.

After retiring from soccer in January, Wiese, 32, took up bodybuilding and bulked up from 190lbs to over 250 lbs. Wiese’s high profile and newly sculpted physique caught the attention of WWE officials.

“I have an official inquiry from the WWE,” Wiese told German newspaper Bild, according to MLSSoccer.com. “It’s about working for them as a wrestler. I will listen. I don’t (expletive) my pants. Why should I immediately say no? Wrestling is very popular, especially in the (United) States. I will go through the inquiry with my agent next week.”

Weise played more than 300 Bundesliga games for Kaiserlauten, Werder Bremen (most famously) and Hoffenheim. Weise also played six times for Germany’s national team from 2008-2012. He earned a spot on Germany’s 2010 FIFA World Cup team but did not play at the tournament, as Germany finished in third place.
