NFL: Kansas City Chiefs at Denver BroncosDenver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib isn’t a member of the New England Patriots anymore, but he still can answer questions like he is.

Talib gave a few answers that Pats head coach Bill Belichick would be proud of Monday when asked his thoughts about the upcoming matchup in Week 9 against his former team.

On the difference between playing in New England and playing in Denver

“In the home games, the Patriots wear blue. For home games for Denver, we wear our orange. So there are a whole bunch of things that are different. Everything is different.”

On if he’s looking forward to this week because it’s against the Patriots

“I’m looking forward to it because it’s the next game against a real good team.”

Woah, woah, woah, don’t give everything away at once, Talib.

But he wasn’t tight-lipped with the media when the subject of Rob Gronkowski came up. Talib heaped praise on Gronk, who exploded for nine catches for 149 yards and three touchdowns during Sunday’s 51-23 rout of the Chicago Bears, comparing him to “a wild dog man,” which for the record, was meant in a positive way.

“He’s 6-foot-7, 200 and who knows what,” Talib said. “And then he can run like a wild dog man. Great hands, great catch radius. He’s one of the top tight ends in the league. He knows how to play the game of football and then on top of that, he’s got a great quarterback throwing him the ball.”

The Pats’ convincing win marked the fourth straight week they’ve looked like the dominating team most expected them to be, but after a rough start to the 2014-15 season, some were doubting if they’d live up to the hype. Talib was never worried, though.

“I told you. You all were panicking. I told you they’ll be alright,” Talib said. “They’ll be fine. They’ll be in the playoffs. They’ll win the division. No surprise.”
