Adrian Peterson Compares Ferguson Ruling To His Own Legal Battles

You’d think Adrian Peterson might want to lay low for a while, but he did no such thing Monday night.

Peterson, like many others, was upset shortly after a grand jury in Missouri ruled that Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson wouldn’t be charged for shooting unarmed teenager Mike Brown to death in August. However, it was how the Minnesota Vikings running back voiced his dismay that has made him the target of criticism.

Peterson took to Twitter shortly after the news broke and essentially made the story about himself — at least to an extent. Peterson compared the verdict to his child abuse charges in Texas — the same charges that have caused him to miss 10 of the Vikings’ 11 games this season.

The thing about that tweet, you see, is there really are no similarities whatsoever between the two cases.
