Johnny Manziel continues to learn that misusing Twitter can bite him in many ways.
This time, the most popular backup quarterback in the NFL tweeted a phone number that was probably his since the area code includes the area in Texas where Manziel is from.
The tweet likely was intended to be a direct message meant for one person — not the entire Twitterverse.
Nevertheless, the Cleveland Browns quarterback probably needs new digits since the voicemail box was full in less than an hour and the number was disconnected shortly after that.
Twitter crushed Manziel for his faux pas.
Fortunately for Johnny, he’ll have plenty of time on the bench to text the new number to all of his contacts.
