The Detroit Lions are doing everything they can to make the Buffalo Bills feel at home in the Motor City.
The Bills are “hosting” the New York Jets on Monday night at Ford Field after a massive snowstorm forced the NFL to reschedule Sunday’s home game originally slated to be played at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
The unusual circumstances could make for a difficult situation, but the Lions are going out of their way to ensure the Bills still maintain a sense of home-field advantage.
That was shown very literally on Sunday morning, as the Lions began removing their own logo on the field in favor of Buffalo’s.

The team also added that the Lions’ hospitality has been incredible. After practicing for the first time all week on Friday, head coach Doug Marrone expressed his gratitude for the team’s efforts.
“(The Lions have) been outstanding, I can’t say enough,” Marrone said, per NFL.com. “That’s unheard of in this league.”
“They made it as smooth a transition as it could be,” quarterback Kyle Orton said.
What makes the gesture even more impressive is the fact that the Lions will have to then switch the logos back on a short week with Detroit set to host its annual Thanksgiving game on Thursday.
The Lions announced Friday tickets to the Jets-Bills game would be free to the general public.
