Jim Harbaugh is sparking a new (old) fashion trend at the University of Michigan.

The school’s student section, the Maize Rage, is planning a “khaki out” for Tuesday’s basketball game against the University of Illinois, which Harbaugh is expected to attend.

Harbaugh officially parted ways with the San Francisco 49ers following Sunday’s season finale against the Arizona Cardinals. Michigan has spent the past few weeks heavily recruiting the former Wolverines QB, and that hard work paid off, as a source close to the university told ESPN’s Adam Schefter a deal is done and he’ll be named the next head coach at a news conference Tuesday.

In the meantime, Michigan students have limited time to rush out to Wal-Mart and snag a pair of the pants that Harbaugh so proudly reps on the sideline.
