Give a 38-year-old man credit for believing in himself.

Andre Miller, the veteran backup point guard for the Washington Wizards, tried to get on a highlight reel during Tuesday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. When teammate Kevin Seraphin’s turnaround hook shot misfired, Miller tested the extent of his physical abilities by attempting a putback slam dunk.

It didn’t go so well for him.

To be fair, Miller is in his 16th NBA season. He’s been playing professionally since most current players were in elementary school. If he’s looking to remake his image as a high-flier late in his career, though, this will hurt his case.
