The United States men’s national soccer team has moved on from the 2014 FIFA World Cup and is working to make the future as bright as possible.
Team USA kicked off 2015 by holding its annual January training camp and playing two exhibition games — against Chile and Panama — in recent weeks. Head coach Jurgen Klinsmann experimented, and the results were mixed.
A host of new players have tried to impress Klinsmann and launch their national-team careers, while established stars continued to set the tone for Team USA. Klinsmann wasn’t totally happy with what he saw behind the scenes, and Team USA’s results and performances worried fans and pundits alike. The 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup is a must-win for Team USA, and it begins in less than six months.
