J.J. Watt already is a three-time Pro Bowl pick and two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and now he can add television star to his résumé.
The Houston Texans defensive end will play himself in FOX’s “New Girl” on Tuesday night. In the episode, Watt runs into characters Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Coach (Damon Wayans Jr.) when they crash his agent’s funeral, and they cause a little bit of trouble together. There’s even some singing involved.
Watt admits he’s “fake” singing badly, but he probably shouldn’t quit his day job any time soon.
