Andrew McCutchen might have made a couple of his biggest fans’ lives.
The Pittsburgh Pirates center fielder had quite a game against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park on Saturday, going 2-for-3 with two walks, a run and an RBI. So after the Bucs’ 5-2 win, McCutchen gave his batting gloves (and some fist bumps) to a pair of young fans who had been behind him and cheering him on all night.
Judging by their reactions, it’s safe to say that’s a moment those kids will never forget.
