Titans Wideouts Didn’t Look Too Thrilled About Marcus Mariota Pick (Video)

There surely were plenty of folks in Nashville last Thursday applauding the Tennessee Titans’ decision to draft quarterback Marcus Mariota second overall.

Titans wide receivers Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter weren’t among them.

Wright and Hunter were caught on video at the Titans’ draft party looking … um, less than enthused by their team’s selection.

Mariota is nowhere near a can’t-miss prospect, as critics point to the massive differences between the wide-open, all-shotgun system he ran at Oregon and the offenses typically employed in the NFL.

According to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, however, Wright’s and Hunter’s reactions more were a product of their friendship with the Titans’ incumbent signal-caller, 2014 draft pick Zach Mettenberger.
