The University of Oregon seemingly can’t run out of uniform combinations, but that doesn’t appear to be stopping them from adding another wrinkle to their kit.

The Oregon football team is known for two things: Being really good at football and having some of sports’ most insane uniforms. So it really shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Ducks are teasing glow-in-the-dark uniforms.

Oregon athletics tweeted this photo Monday.

If any team out there were to experiment with glow-in-the-dark unis, it would be Oregon. Of course, glow-in-the-dark uniforms wouldn’t do a whole lot once, you know, they turn on the lights, but it certainly could make for a pretty awesome pregame introduction.

Then again, this could just be a masterful ploy to get people talking about Oregon football or promote some sort of giveaway. Judging by the social media interaction with this one tweet and the story being passed around the Internet, that goal certainly has been accomplished.
