The Kansas City Royals took Game 1 of the World Series on Tuesday with a dramatic 5-4 win.
It took 14 innings for KC to emerge victorious, making it the longest Game 1 in the history of the Fall Classic. The New York Mets will look to bounce back when the series resumes Wednesday night at Kauffman Stadium.
