Liverpool already has welcomed Jurgen Klopp with open arms, but a 9-year-old reporter has helped the city embrace the German like never before.

Kop Kids’ Isaac interviewed Klopp on Thursday, teaching the new Liverpool manager a few Scouse-language words and phrases that could come in handy during his tenure at Anfield. If you’re not familiar with terms like “Giving it bifters,” “Boss Tha” and “Gorra Cob on,” LiverpoolFC.com posted the interview on its website for your educational purposes.

Klopp later accepted Isaac’s challenge of discussing his ever-improving Scouse at his pregame press conference ahead of Thursday’s UEFA Europa League contest with Bordeaux.

“The problem is that I don’t remember important things too good, but ‘boss’ is not a problem!” Klopp said, according to LiverpoolFC.com. “It’s easy to learn.

“But the rest … I couldn’t even read it when I saw it. So I need more time, of course, to get better at Scouse, and I hope I will have this time!”

Like anyone, Klopp learns something new every day … especially at Liverpool.
