The 2015-16 MLB offseason is in full swing, which means some players will find new homes in the coming months. Free agency figures to be eventful this winter, as the market is chock full of studs.
The starting pitching market is especially strong, with three or four hurlers worthy of the polarizing “ace” label. A few teams with deep pockets are expected to be right in the thick of the action, too, so some huge contracts could be shelled out before Opening Day 2016.
That said, don’t sleep on the position players available on the open market. A few everyday players are worthy of big deals in their own right. Expect some intense negotiations.
So, where exactly will the top free agents land this offseason? Funny you should ask. NESN.com released its MLB free agent power rankings earlier this week, so let’s take a stab at figuring out where the top dogs will sign.
