The United States men’s soccer team has struggled in recent months, but it should have no problem winning its first 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
St. Vincent and the Grenadines is a small group of South Caribbean islands that has a population of a little over 100,000. So, as you can imagine, they’re not usually big contenders. They currently rank 129 in the FIFA rankings, well behind the U.S.’s No. 33 spot. St. Vincent and the Grenadines also is 1-23-1 against non-Caribbean opponents.
