Bengals Players Celebrate Steelers’ Loss To Broncos With Elated Tweets

The Denver Broncos had a few more fans than normal Sunday afternoon.

The Broncos sent the Pittsburgh Steelers packing with a come-from-behind win in an AFC divisional-round playoff matchup in Denver. That obviously pleased Broncos fans, but it no doubt made some folks in Cincinnati very happy, too.

After the Steelers eliminated the Cincinnati Bengals in a hotly contested, somewhat controversial wild-card round matchup last week, a few Bengals players had no issues publicly rooting for the Broncos to give Pittsburgh the boot Sunday.

Of course, the Bengals’ public celebration doesn’t undo the fact they choked away a late lead with iffy defensive play and boneheaded penalties, but whatever gives them closure or helps them sleep in peace, we guess.
