Nearly every Premier League club is flush with cash these days, but that’s not the case for teams that play three divisions below England’s top flight.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp discovered as much Friday when his pregame interview took place in the tightest of spaces. Klopp and a BBC reporter were standing in Exeter City’s cramped tea room at St. James Park for their back-and-forth, to the delight of television viewers.

League Two (English fourth division) club Exeter City tied Liverpool 2-2 in the third round of the FA Cup. The facilities are a far cry from some of the Premier League’s more lavish media dens.

Klopp’s still relatively new to English soccer, but Liverpool’s record against minnows over the years should give him — wait for it — comfort.
