Josh Smith is about to land back in Houston.

Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski reported Friday that the Rockets have reacquired the veteran swingman in a trade with the Los Angeles Clippers. Additionally, the Clippers are sending cash to cover Smith’s contract in addition to sending the draft rights to a guy named Serhiy Lischuk. According to Wojnarowski, the Rockets will send the Clippers the rights to Maarty Leunen.

Wojnarowski says neither Lischuk nor Leunen are expected to play in the NBA.

Smith signed with the Clippers in July after spending the bulk of the 2014-15 season in Houston. Smith has been a relative non-factor for the Clippers this season. The 30-year-old has appeared in 32 games, averaging a little more than 14 minutes per contest. He’s shooting just 38 percent from the floor and averaging 5.7 points per game.
