Jared Sullinger isn’t as elusive as he’d like to be.
The Boston Celtics beat the Los Angeles Clippers 139-134 in overtime Wednesday night, but it wasn’t thanks to the Celtics power forward’s spy skills. Sullinger tried to be slick during the second quarter and sneak into the Clippers’ huddle, but he was spotted and kicked out pretty much immediately.
The Celtics didn’t need Sully’s intelligence anyway, thanks to Isaiah Thomas’ last-second jumper to give Boston a chance to win it in OT. Sullinger did have a good night otherwise, though, scoring 21 points to go with 11 boards and seven assists.
