9:50 a.m.: One of the league’s best defensive players will hit the market.

9:27 a.m.: Here are the reported financial details on Marvin Jones’ agreement with the Lions, per NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

9:20 a.m.: The Lions needed to add a receiver after Calvin Johnson’s surprise retirement, and they reportedly have done just that, agreeing to terms with one of the top free-agent wideouts.

ESPN’s Dianna Marie Russini reported Detroit has agreed to terms with Marvin Jones.

8:50 a.m.: If you’re a free-agent tight end, chances are the Pittsburgh Steelers are interested in your services. The Steelers are looking to fill the void left by Heath Miller’s retirement, and NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport says Pittsburgh’s been busy searching for his replacement.

Well, that deal is far from a certainty, according to multiple reports. The Eagles reportedly have concerns over the condition of Maxwell’s shoulder.

In fact, it would be surprising if this trade gets finalized, according to ESPN’s Ed Werder.
