This is how you put an exclamation point on a win.
Kansas guard and Roxbury, Mass., native Wayne Selden Jr. reminded America why his Jayhawks are the No. 1 team in the country with a thunderous dunk over Baylor’s Ishmael Wainright that forever will live in bad dreams and posters.
As if that weren’t enough, Selden’s uncle, Anthony, attending the game wearing a Flava Flav-like clock around his neck, went absolutely berserk at the sight of it. ESPN broadcaster Brent Musburger was pretty excited, too.
The NCAA Tournament hasn’t even begun, and March already is earning its “Madness” title.
Kansas survived a furious 18-6 run from Baylor to end the game, advancing to the Big 12 title game with a 70-66 win.
