When the NCAA Division I men’s hockey tournament started, half of the field’s 16 teams hailed from New England. That’s still the case entering the Frozen Four, as Boston College and Quinnipiac represent two of the four teams who will battle for the national championship in Tampa.

Neither the Eagles nor the Bobcats are favorites to take home the title, though. North Dakota enters as the favorite at 7-5 odds, according to Bovada.

North Dakota entered the tournament as the third overall seed and rolled to the Final Four with dominant victories over Northeastern and Michigan. UND will take on Denver in its semifinal matchup, with the Pioneers slated as the Frozen Four’s underdogs at 7-2 odds to win the title.

No. 1 overall seed Quinnipiac owns the second-best championship odds at 12-5 after blanking RIT 4-0 in the opening round and dispatching UMass-Lowell 4-1 in the quarterfinals.

But the Bobcats will face a tough test in BC, which is pegged at 14-5 title odds. The Eagles took care of Harvard 4-1 in the opening round and escaped with a 3-2 win over Minnesota-Duluth in the quarterfinals.

Quinnipiac and BC will kick things off April 7 at Amalie Arena with a 5 p.m. ET puck drop, with North Dakota and Denver slated to start at 8:30 p.m.
