CM Punk Might Finally Make UFC Debut Day Before Major WWE Pay-Per-View

Brock Lesnar isn’t the only fighter with WWE ties who might fight in the octagon this summer.

Remember CM Punk? Well, we’ll forgive you if you don’t since he hasn’t fought since signing with UFC in December 2014 months after his shocking WWE departure.

But it appears there’s finally a target date for CM Punk’s debut, and it happens to be at UFC 202.

This news is especially interesting because UFC 202 is one day before WWE SummerSlam.

The cross-promotion between UFC and WWE appears to be at an all-time high thanks to WWE allowing Lesnar to fight at UFC 200 and Paige VanZant possibly appearing at SummerSlam. And if that cross-promotion happens at UFC 202, that means WWE could be involved in Punk’s UFC debut just a few years after his shocking exit.

Fun times.
