David Price Vs. Madison Bumgarner Highlights Red Sox-Giants Finale

Two of the best pitchers in Major League Baseball will square off Wednesday night at AT&T Park when San Francisco Giants ace Madison Bumgarner takes on Boston Red Sox ace David Price.

Both of them enter with 7-2 records, but Bumgarner’s ERA (1.91) is almost three runs better than Price’s (4.88), Bumgarner also is doing damage at the plate with five hits, including two home runs, in 12 games played.

Designated hitter David Ortiz again will start on Boston’s bench, and Josh Rutledge will start at third base in place of Travis Shaw and bat eighth.

Giants catcher Buster Posey isn’t in the starting lineup after missing Tuesday’s game. He’s nursing a thumb injury.
