Rio de Janeiro Drug Dealers Shamelessly Use Olympic Logo To Sell Product

Like any other business in Rio de Janeiro, the drug trade is trying to capitalize on the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Brazilian newspaper O Globo reported Monday that Rio de Janeiro police seized a stash of 93 cocaine bags, of which some bore packaging that included the iconic Olympics rings, according to Sport Illustrated’s Dan Gartland.

It’s nice of the drug dealers to watch out for the kids, but what about the interests of the International Olympic Committee? Sponsors pay big money to associate themselves with the IOC and the Olympic Games. Surely, they’re not paying for branded drugs.
