It turns out Travis Shaw didn’t lose his job after all.

The Boston Red Sox third baseman will start Wednesday night against the San Diego Padres after top prospect Yoan Moncada started a strikeout streak of seven Ks in seven at-bats. Shaw sat out the last three games, but he’ll be in the Red Sox’s lineup and batting eighth for the series finale against the Padres at Petco Park.

Left fielder Chris Young also will start again for Boston and bat seventh. David Ortiz will be on the bench again, though, with the designated hitter role not in play at the National League park.

David Price will be on the mound for the Red Sox, and he’ll look to keep improving his numbers against one of the worst offenses in Major League Baseball. After starting the season off slow, the left-hander is 5-2 with a 3.12 ERA in the second half.

Here are both teams’ lineups for Wednesday’s game.
