The Cincinnati Bengals had one last chance to tie the Steelers in the final two minutes of their AFC North clash Sunday, but a controversial call sealed the win for Pittsburgh.
Bengals rookie wide receiver Tyler Boyd caught a short pass on the first play after the two-minute warning, but the ball came loose toward the end of the play. It was ruled a fumble on the field, and the Steelers recovered the loose ball.
However, if you look at the play for yourself, it sure seems like Boyd’s knee was down before the ball came out.
So it was overturned, right?
Wrong.
Upon further review, the call on the field stood, and the Steelers went on to win 24-16.
