Ray Allen announced his retirement Tuesday, bringing an end to one of the most successful careers in NBA history.

Allen won two NBA championships, one with the Boston Celtics and another with the Miami Heat.

He came to Boston before the 2007-08 season as one of the “Big Three” that included Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. Allen’s long-distance shooting and perimeter defense helped the C’s reach the NBA Finals twice in his five-year career in Boston.

Let’s take a look back at his best moments with the Celtics.

Regular Season, 2007-08
A Thanksgiving week game against the Charlotte Bobcats will be remembered as Allen’s first game-winner as a Celtic. Mike Gorman’s call was awesome, too.

2008 NBA Finals Game 4
Allen made Los Angeles Lakers guard Sasha Vujacic look pretty bad defensively on his final drive of the game, which sealed an epic comeback for the Celtics that gave them a 3-1 series lead. He played all 48 minutes of Game 4.

2008 NBA Finals, Game 6
Allen hit 7 of 9 3-point shots as the Celtics trounced the Lakers with a 39-point series-clinching win for their first championship since 1986.

2009 First Round, Game 2
Celtics-Bulls was one of the best playoff series in recent memory, and Allen saved the Celtics with a late 3-pointer to even the series.

2009 First Round, Game 6
Allen scored a career playoff high 51 points thanks to nine 3-point field goals, but the Celtics still lost in triple overtime as the Bulls forced a decisive Game 7.

2010 NBA Finals, Game 2
Allen hit an NBA Finals record eight 3-point shots as the Celtics evened the series.

2010-11 Regular Season
Allen broke Reggie Miller’s all-time record for most 3-point shots made in a career.

2011 First Round, Game 1
Allen won the series opener over the New York Knicks with another clutch shot from beyond the arc.
