Ryan Tannehill Injury: Updates On Miami Dolphins QB’s Knee Issue

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill was forced to leave Sunday’s home game against the Arizona Cardinals after suffering a knee injury in the fourth quarter.

UPDATE (Sunday, Dec. 11 at 4:55 p.m. ET):  The news could be very bad for Tannehill and the Dolphins.

ORIGINAL STORY: The team announced he was questionable to return, but he never came back into the game. Backup quarterback Matt Moore replaced Tannehill.

The extent of the injury is not yet known, but Tannehill was visibly upset, leading to speculation that the injury could be serious.

Tannehill entered Sunday’s game with 2,800 passing yards, 16 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions. He has never missed a game in his four-plus seasons in the NFL.

The Dolphins beat the Cardinals in overtime 26-23.
