Eight Questions Celtics Face In Second Half After NBA All-Star Break

It’s time for the Boston Celtics to get back to work.

Several Celtics players participated in last weekend’s NBA All-Star festivities, but the team must be champing at the bit to begin the second half. The Celtics lost three straight games before the break and nine of their last 15 overall, dropping them to second place in the Eastern Conference behind the Toronto Raptors.

The Celtics’ recent skid does nothing to diminish their first-half success. Boston still owns a 40-19 record, which is far better than anyone could have imagined after Gordon Hayward went down with a gruesome leg injury in the season opener. But the C’s clearly face some questions as they prepare for their final 23 games of the regular season, a stretch that begins Friday night against the Detroit Pistons.
