The New England Patriots reportedly are losing another free-agent offensive tackle this offseason.
Cameron Fleming is expected to sign with the Dallas Cowboys, a source told ESPN’s Field Yates on Saturday. The Patriots also lost starting left tackle Nate Solder to the New York Giants in free agency, but they signed LaAdrian Waddle to a one-year deal this week.
It was unlikely the Patriots would have been able to retain Fleming after signing Waddle.
Fleming was selected in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft out of Stanford. He’s started 20 of 47 games through four seasons. He started six of 12 games last season while filling in for Waddle and Marcus Cannon.
The Patriots are left with Waddle, Cannon, Cole Croston, Matt Tobin, Antonio Garcia and Andrew Jelks on their offensive tackle depth chart.
The Patriots have just two free agents, defensive tackle Alan Branch and linebacker James Harrison, on the open market.
