The Boston Red Sox are gearing up for another exciting season, and so is their mascot, Wally The Green Monster.

“Wally’s Opening Day” is back for the second year and will premier Sunday, March 25 immediately after the Sox’s 1:05 spring training game against the Minnesota Twins. It will air again March 29 at 2 p.m., just before coverage begins of the Red Sox’s Opening Day contest against the Tampa Bay Rays.

The show will focus on Wally’s trek to Boston from Ft. Myers, Fla. Wally misses his ride to Fenway Park from the Sunshine State, and then has to rely on help from those around him to make sure the April tradition goes on, freak spring snowstorm and all.

Tom Kenny (“SpongeBob SquarePants”) is the voice of Wally and is among the numerous stars involved in the special.
