Bill Belichick was vibing Sunday afternoon, and it's hard to blame him.
With calls for Belichick to lose his job at a fever pitch, the Patriots delivered a throwback victory over the Buffalo Bills in comeback fashion. Mac Jones delivered his first real game-winning drive, and New England finally got the better of Josh Allen, who had won five of his previous six matchups against the Patriots.
It felt like a weight was lifted off the team's collective shoulders, and you could see it on Belichick's face after the final play of the game at Gillette Stadium.
New England's head coach was all smiles afterward, especially during a postgame exchange with team broadcaster Scott Zolak. Belichick was practically beaming while talking about windy conditions and even brought up his golf skills. He did get angry when asked about his contract, though.

Of course, the 2-5 Patriots have little time to celebrate with a road game against the Miami Dolphins looming this Sunday. Another loss at Hard Rock Stadium likely would cement New England's status as a no-doubt seller ahead of the Oct. 31 NFL trade deadline.
On the other side, another victory could change the narrative surrounding Belichick, Jones and the Patriots.
