The struggling Boston College Eagles will be aiming for just their second straight-up win against Notre Dame in their last 10 meetings on the hardwood when they welcome the Fighting Irish to town this weekend in ACC betting action at the sportsbooks.

Saturday?s Irish vs. Eagles matchup at Conte Forum marks the second game of the season between the ACC rivals following Notre Dame?s 71-63 victory two weeks ago, a game in which Boston College covered as heavy 12.5-point underdogs at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Boston College saw their current SU losing streak extend to seven with their 69-60 loss to the Florida State Seminoles on Wednesday. The Eagles took a five-point lead to the locker room at halftime but could not keep pace in the second half with the Noles, who marched to their fifth SU win in their last seven and ninth against-the-spread win in their last 10.

Pegged as six-point underdogs on Wednesday, the Eagles? ATS loss was their fourth in their last six, dropping their ATS record versus conference opponents to 7-6.

In NHL action, the Boston Bruins extended their current losing streak to five games on Wednesday night with a 4-3 shootout loss to the Edmonton Oilers.

The Bruins picked up a point in the standings to sit three points up on the Florida Panthers in the East’s wild card race heading into action on Thursday, but the club?s swoon is taking its toll on its Stanley Cup betting odds, which have now slipped to 18/1 after peaking at 12/1 less than two weeks ago.

The Bruins return to action on Friday when they visit the St. Louis Blues. The Blues have cooled off, winning just three of their last six games after starting the new year with 12 wins in 13 outings, but still remain near the top of the Stanley Cup odds at 10/1.

Boston posted a 2-0 win over the Blues when the two teams met at TD Garden back in November, and the Bruins are a solid 3-1 in their last four visits to St. Louis.

Over in the NBA, the Boston Celtics return from their lengthy layoff over the NBA All-Star Break on Friday when they visit the Sacramento Kings.

The Celtics will be looking to build on their recent stretch of four SU wins in their last five games, and their 11-2 ATS record in their last 13 games, while the Kings will be searching for answers after posting just two SU wins in their last 15 games, going 6-9 ATS on the NBA betting lines in that span.
