Ohio State Can Win Ugly

Whatever doubt was left that Ohio State was not tough enough to win ugly Big Ten games is gone after a 20-12 slugfest with the Nittany Lions. They slowed Penn State’s offense, especially on the ground, holding the Lions to just 49 yards rushing. The defense produced six tackles for loss and four sacks. The offense did enough to win comfortably in the end.

Marvin Harrison Jr. is a Cheat Code

The game came down to the best wide receiver in college football. The Buckeyes had Marvin Harrison Jr., and the Nittany Lions did not. It’s just that simple. Harrison Jr. made 11 catches for 162 yards and a touchdown. His talent gives Ohio State a chance every game.

Ready for Michigan?

A question as an answer is not usually how this works, but the Buckeyes’ next test is Michigan at the end of the season. They beat Notre Dame at their own game on the road. They out-toughed a stout Penn State and showcased the best wide receiver in the sport. Are the Buckeyes ready for the trip up north? They look ready.
