The UEFA Champions League promises to satisfy soccer fans’ cravings for months to come.

UEFA conducted the group-stage draw for the 2020-21 UEFA Champions League on Thursday, sorting the 32 entrants into eight groups of four teams. The group stage will begin later this month and run through early December.

On this week’s episode of the “NESN Soccer Podcast,” CBS Sports soccer analyst Ian Joy (@JOYPAULIAN on Twitter) joins Marc DiBenedetto and Marcus Kwesi O’Mard to dissect the Champions League draw and preview the group stage. They also react to the San Diego Loyal’s decision to forfeit points and games after their players received racist and homophobic abuse during their recent USL Championship games.

What do you think about the Champions League draw? What about Landon Donovan’s and San Diego’s leadership in soccer’s fight against racism and homophobia? We want to hear your thoughts. Subscribe and leave a review on iTunes or Spotify, and follow the latest from the “NESN Soccer Podcast.”
