Gerald Green's return to the NBA last year meant at least one thing: more awesome dunking YouTube videos.
Green's Pacers teammates had the unfortunate task of practicing alley-oop dunks before the former Celtics first-round pick at practice. Green outshined them all with his hops, soaring above the rim for a windmill and a two-handed slam. He was just showing off when he finally leapt with a running start getting his entire head above the rim.
The Pacers' guard/forward had all the promise in the world when Boston decided to use the 18th overall pick in the 2009 draft on him straight out of high school. Green had only started playing basketball as a sophomore, and it showed with his lack of technique on the court. After toiling around in Russia, China and finally the NBA D-League, Green returned to the league last season with the Nets and seemed to finally put together all the promise he showed out of high school.
Hopefully, the 26-year-old decides to flash his dunking skills during this year's All-Star Weekend. Check out Green's crazy leaping ability in the video below.
