Brandon Lloyd gave everyone a scare on Sunday.
The Patriots' receiver dove for a Tom Brady pass that flew just right of the Patriots sideline, then stayed down on the turf favoring his shoulder. It turns out the injury was just a bruise according to Chris Mortensen on Monday Night Countdown.
Lloyd returned to the game for the final two snaps and should be good to go for New England's next tilt against the Jets. Lloyd has 34 receptions for 401 yards and a touchdown on the season. He and Brady have already made an imposing pair in limited time together.
He hasn't been quite the deep threat that some may have predicted with just 11.8 yards per catch, but his game is well suited for the Patriots hurry-up offense.
