Week 15 in the NFL is setting up to be a dandy.
There’s plenty at stake, and even better, there are some good old-fashioned rivalries mixed in. So let’s not waste any time getting into this weeks lines, OK?
Here they are, courtesy of Bovada.
Cincinnati (-4) at Philadelphia
The Bengals are road favorites despite coughing up a would-be win against the Cowboys last week, while the Eagles are flying high after coming back to beat the Bucs on the road last week.
Green Bay (-3) at Chicago
The Packers and the Bears are two rivals heading in opposite directions, and the Packers are road favorites in a game in which they can wrap up back-to-back NFC North titles.
New York Giants at Atlanta (-1)
Atlanta was steamrolled last week by the Carolina Panthers, but they’re still favorites this week against the Giants who usually turn it on in a big way this time of the year.
Tampa Bay at New Orleans (-3.5)
Both teams had big expectations heading into this season, but these NFC South clubs will square off with just about nothing to play for this weekend.
Minnesota at St. Louis (-3)
The Vikings are likely underdogs only because they’re on the road after Adrian Peterson and the Vikes were very impressive last week against the Bears.
Washington at Cleveland (off)
There’s no line for this game yet, and that’s because the status of Robert Griffin III is still unknown.
Jacksonville at Miami (-7)
This is an awful game, but it probably won’t be the worst game of the week.
Denver (-2.5) at Baltimore
This is a big-time matchup between two of the AFC’s best teams, with both clubs jockeying for postseason positioning.
Indianapolis at Houston (-8.5)
There is actually still a chance that the Colts can catch the Texans in the AFC South, but they obviously have to win this game if they’re going to do that.
Carolina at San Diego (-3)
Good luck picking a winner in this game.
Seattle (-5) at Buffalo
The Seahawks are coming off a huge win over the Cardinals, but they’re favored by less than a touchdown this week, likely because they’re just 2-5 on the road.
Detroit (-6) at Arizona
The Lions aren’t very good, but at least they didn’t lose by 58 last week.
Pittsburgh (-1.5) at Dallas
The trash talk has already begun in this matchup between two of the most popular teams in all of football.
Kansas City at Oakland (-3)
Gross.
San Francisco at New England (-6)
This is a potential Super Bowl preview, with the Patriots putting their long streak of home wins in December on the line against the Niners.
New York Jets at Tennessee (-1.5)
Save the worst for last. Do yourself a favor and do something else on Monday night.
