Andy Reid is a big human being. There is literally no way to deny this after taking just one look at the former Eagles, reportedly soon-to-be Chiefs head coach.
In fact, Reid has pretty much always been a huge dude, even dating back to his childhood.
We all know this and since most of us are able to act like adults, we usually don’t mention it. But every once in a while, as we’re sitting around watching Reid roam the sidelines, we’re inspired to toss around one-line zingers about Reid’s weight. Apparently that habit isn’t exclusive to Joe Schmo on the couch. Even TV personalities get in on the act.
That’s what ESPN’s Ed Werder appeared to do on Friday morning while making an appearance on SportsCenter. As the guys over at Awful Announcing point out, it sure sounds like Werder made a fat joke.
