If you’ve ever watched an NFL practice, the first thing you notice is just how hard almost all of the players are working in their drills. The second thing you notice is just how little the special teamers have to do.
That’s why it’s not surprising that Patriots punterĀ Zoltan Mesko tweeted that he got yelled at for making a snowman at practice on Wednesday. While it did, indeed, snow about four inches in Foxboro on Wednesday morning, and there is a very good chance that the punter did make a snowman somewhere at some point, his tweet was nothing more than a typical Mesko joke.
“@Andruzzi63: How did everyone survive the snow today!” I got yelled at for making a snowman at practice... 😔😔😔

Mesko is also known as a jokester in the Patriots’ locker room. In November he made fun of the mustache he was growing for “Movember” and participated in Kenny Mayne‘s “guy who selects the locker room music election” video with Deion Branch.
Mesko’s practice hijinks certainly aren’t affecting his play on the field. He finished the 2012 regular season with 28 of 60 punts inside the 20-yard line and allowed just 154 return yards.
