Nerlens Noel went down screaming in pain after injuring his knee against Florida on Tuesday night. The Everett, Mass., native came down hard on his left knee after blocking a Mike Rosario layup attempt. The extent of Noel’s injury is not known, though he was seen leaving the game in a wheelchair, according to Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union.
Noel was listed as the No. 1 recruit in the 2012 class by Scout, ESPN and Max Preps coming out of Tilton School in New Hampshire. He leads the NCAA in blocks per game with 4.4 while adding 10.5 points and 9.5 rebounds.
