Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez had a memorable night Saturday after throwing six innings of two-hit ball and notching five strikeouts. He also recorded his first major league hit and drove in his first run in the major leagues.
What happened after that hit, he may try to forget. Fernandez struggled mightily when putting on his warmup jacket to wear running the bases, to the point that the first base umpire got involved. Luckily, with the aid of the ump and his first base coach, Fernandez was finally able to figure the pesky windbreaker out.
