Take a seat, Corey Perry. No, the other one.
It was deja vu in the second period for the Ducks forward. With Anaheim up 2-1 as the second frame closed, Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonagh challenged Perry for a puck along the boards. Unfortunately for Perry, the puck happened to be along the New York bench, and when the biscuit slid past them, McDonagh planted his opponent into the bench.
It wasn’t over, though, as the two players found themselves in a near identical situation with seconds left in the period. Perry went for the puck, McDonagh took the body, and into the bench went Perry. Again.
